Abstract:
The present application discloses a printer that enables sufficient pressing of a fold in continuous paper that is fed into a stacker after completion of printing. The printer disclosed in the present application comprises: a stacker in which continuous paper which has been printed on is stacked; a swing mechanism that feeds the continuous paper to the stacker while causing the feed direction of the continuous paper to swing in accordance with a fold; a guide that presses, from above, the fold in the continuous paper which is stacked in the stacker; and a drive mechanism that causes the guide to begin pressing the fold when the fold of the continuous paper enters the rotation range of the guide immediately following feeding of the continuous paper from the swing mechanism.
