Abstract:
Provided is a printing apparatus in which a back surface of a partial printing section of an object (1) to be printed extending in a band shape is supported on a table (16) having a plurality of suction-attachment holes (6) for suction-attaching the object (1) to be printed, and, while an image is being printed by means of a printing head in the printing section of the object (1) to be printed, the object (1) to be printed is irradiated with ultraviolet rays generated from a UV light to cure a UV curable ink. Intervals (Ps) and (Pn) of the respective suction-attachment holes (6) of the table (16) are lengths such that an amount by which the object (1) to be printed floats from the table (16) due to the irradiation with the ultraviolet rays generated from the UV light becomes smaller than a gap between a surface of the object (1) to be printed before floating and the printing head (10).
