Abstract:
Provided are a printing device and a computer program, the printing device performing ink circulation and an inkjet head cleaning operation, wherein it is possible to reduce the ink consumption resulting from the cleaning operation. A CPU of the printing device executes circulation (S4) if it is determined that a circulation timing for circulating the ink has arrived (S3: YES). Next, the CPU executes head cleaning (S10) if it is determined that a printing timing has arrived (S9: YES). The CPU does not execute head cleaning if it is not determined that the printing timing has arrived. Accordingly, if it is not determined that the printing timing has arrived (S9: NO), the CPU does not execute head cleaning after circulation (S4). Consequently, ink consumption resulting from head cleaning is reduced.
