[Problem] To provide a printing device suitable for printing on a lower surface of a printing object and printing equipment using the printing device. [Solution] A printing device A includes a conveyor (11) having a separation space (12) which is separated in the conveyance direction; a garter (2) directionally arranged at the separation space of the conveyor below and across a conveyance surface of the conveyor; a first carriage (3) installed on the garter and configured to be traversable in the direction traversing the conveyor, and a second carriage (4) configured to be movable in the conveyance direction; a printing head (1) installed on the second carriage to be movable up and down and performing printing on the lower surface of a steel sheet (13) conveyed by the conveyor; suction units (7) which are disposed upper side of the separation space and are arranged from the upstream side to the downstream side in the conveyance direction of the separation unit of the conveyor, and which suction a printing object conveyed by the conveyor; and a printing object holding device having gap holding members (8) which form a gap K between the suction units and the surface of the printing object.
