Abstract:
A printing device (1) for fabric, having a head moving mechanism (20) for moving in direction X (left-right direction) an inkjet print head (11) capable of printing on fabric (W); a fabric holding body (5) for holding the periphery of a printing region of the fabric (W); a holding body moving mechanism (30) for feeding below the print head (11) the fabric by feeding in direction Y (forward-backward) the fabric holding body (5); and a fabric path (3) that is provided below a space in which the fabric holding body (5) is moved in the forward and backward direction by the holding body moving mechanism (30), and that allows the movement of a section (Wa) of the fabric (W), the section (Wa) being a section other than the printing region of the fabric (W) held by the fabric holding body (5) and running off the fabric holding body (5).
