Abstract:
There is provided a general-purpose printing completion confirmation system in which a server side need not recognize the printer model. The server (300) transmits only an instruction command of printing completion confirmation to the printer (350). The printer (350) generates check data and its barcode image and performs printing. Furthermore, the printer (350) checks the printing result and reports it to the server (300). Moreover, the position where the barcode image is to be printed is also decided by the printer (350). Thus, the server (300) need not process the printing content or check the printer model and can acquire the check result associated with the printing condition.
