Abstract:
[Problem] To implement a more appropriate configuration for printing using an inkjet method, said configuration suppressing a decrease in printing quality. [Solution] The present invention is provided with a head portion (12), a main scanning drive unit (14), and a control unit (20). Therein, when performing a main scanning operation, for the same region on a medium (50), the control unit (20) discharges, from the head portion (12), an ink droplet of one selected color on a first selected plurality of pixels which are selected on the basis of first mask data, and on a second plurality of selected pixels which are selected on the basis of second mask data that differs from the first mask data in the way the selected pixels are aligned.
