Abstract:
Provided is a printing device that, regardless of the medium type, can mitigate the occurrence of conveyance failure of a medium, at a guide unit which guides the printed medium. The printing device is provided with the following: a conveyance unit that conveys a medium M in a conveyance direction Y; a printing unit that prints on the medium M that is conveyed by the conveyance unit; a guide unit 33 that has a guide surface 35 that guides the printed medium M; and an oscillation unit 34 that oscillates the guide surface 35. The guide surface 35 is formed so as to increasingly face vertically downward at portions farther along the conveyance direction Y.
