Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a printing method with which it is possible to efficiently align the printing positions of ink-jet printing and rotary printing with high accuracy. [Solution] The printing method is provided with the steps of: printing, to an object (W) on which to print, a reference register mark (7) for the object (W) on which to print by an ink-jet printing device (40); gravure-printing to the object (W) on which to print by plate cylinders (11a, 11b, 11c) of a plurality of gravure printing units (10a, 10b, 10c), and imparting register marks (8a, 8b, 8c) to the object (W) on which to print; and detecting each of the reference register mark (7) on the object (W) on which to print and the register marks (8a, 8b, 8c) on the object (W) on which to print that were sent from the gravure printing units, by register mark detection sensors (15a, 15b, 15c) of the gravure printing units (10a, 10b, 10c). The magnitude of difference in the positions of the reference register mark (7) and register marks (8a, 8b, 8c) on the object (W) on which to print that were detected by the register mark detection sensors (15a, 15b, 15c) is calculated by a register control device (30), and the position of the object (W) on which to print is adjusted on the basis of the calculated magnitude of difference.
