Abstract:
Provided are a printing medium and a printing medium composition which are suitable for multiple printing methods and which can also be adapted to multiple plateless printing methods including thermal ink-transfer printing, electrophotographic printing and ink-jet printing. On at least one face of a support, a coating layer comprising (a) a cationic urethane resin, (b) an olefin copolymer emulsion and (c) an ethylene imine resin is provided. The solids mass per face of the coating layer may be 0.01 to 5 g/m2.
