Abstract:
Provided are a printing process for an identification plate (21) of a hair clipper. The identification plate (21) is made of a resilient plastic material. The printing process comprises the following specific steps: a. an injection molding step, in which an ABS plastic plate is selected and injection-molded into an identification plate having a curved structure by an injection molding machine; b. a surface processing step, in which sand blasting and sand cloth polishing are performed on an outer surface of the identification plate, the polished identification plate is placed in a degreasing solvent containing a mixture of 20-30% of acetone and 25-35% of absolute ethyl alcohol to undergo a degreasing operation, and the degreased identification plate is impregnated with a 25-55% chromic acid solution at a temperature of 50-60°C for 20-30 min; c. a positioning step, in which the identification plate is placed in a dedicated positioning tool; d. a printing step, in which a printer is activated, a print head of the printer is placed right above the identification plate, and the print head presses downwardly to complete printing; and e. a drying step, in which the printed identification plate is placed in a drying compartment to undergo a drying operation. For a resilient plastic material having a curved surface to be printed on, the process can prevent missing or blurry printing symbols, and requires only one printing operation following a flattening operation, thereby reducing required time and labor.
