Abstract:
Provided are: a printing sheet having, on at least one surface of a substrate, a coating layer for receiving ink, the printing sheet having superior printability, good adhesion between the substrate and the coating layer, and good antistatic performance, resisting malfunctions such as paper jams during printing, and also having superior levels of various properties such as water resistance and weather resistance; and a method for manufacturing the same. The printing sheet is characterized by comprising a coating layer in which a continuous phase constituted by an acrylic polymer contains 1% by mass to 10% by mass (meth)acrylate ester resin particles and 50% by mass to 70% by mass clay.
