Abstract:
Provided are: a printing sheet having, on at least one surface of a substrate, a coating layer for receiving ink, the printing sheet having superior printability, good adhesion between the substrate and the coating layer, and good antistatic performance, as well as resistance to malfunctions such as paper jams during printing, and superior levels of various properties such as water resistance and weather resistance; and a method for manufacturing the same. The printing sheet is characterized by comprising a coating layer obtained by blending, into a continuous phase comprising an acrylic polymer, 35-65 mass% clay and 5-30 mass% light calcium carbonate.
