A communication to an image formation device is not assigned a priority order, so communication resources required for printing are limited, which may reduce performance. Therefore, in this printing system an image formation device has: a means for receiving a printing instruction from a mobile terminal; a means for inquiring as to whether a printing reservation corresponding to a printing instruction is being managed by a management server, when the printing instruction is received; a means for transmitting connection information to the mobile terminal when the result of the inquiry is that a printing reservation corresponding to the printing instruction is being managed; a connection means for changing communication with the mobile terminal to a connected state when a connection request is received from the mobile terminal using that connection information; a means for acquiring printing data corresponding to the printing instruction from the mobile terminal that is in the connected state; and a means for executing a printing process using the printing data. The connection means changes communication with the mobile terminal to a disconnected state after the printing process has been executed.
