Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a printing system that is able to perform curl correction depending on the degree of curling disposition formed in a photographic paper or the degree of a curl forming in the photographic paper. [Solution] Provided is a printing system for producing a printed article by printing on a photographic paper made of roll paper wound up in a roll, and by correcting a curling of the photographic paper using a curl correction means before printing, after printing, or before and after printing, wherein: the roll paper is appended with production history information; the printing system is provided with a production history information reading means; and the production history information reading means reads out the production history information on the roll paper, and adjusts the amount of correction to be made by the curl correction means on the basis of the production history information that has been read out. The printing system is further provided with an image density reading means which reads out the density of a print image printed on the photographic paper; and the amount of correction to be given by the curl correction means is adjusted on the basis of the print image density information that has been read out.
