Abstract:
A prism optical system uses at least four optical surfaces that have optical effects. At least two of the four optical surfaces are rotationally asymmetric surfaces. One of the two surfaces, upon which light is incident or from which light is emitted, has a single transmission effect and a double internal reflection effect.
