A battery includes an electrode assembly. The electrode assembly comprises: a first electrode comprising a first portion and a first tab extending from the first portion; a separator laminated on the first electrode; and a second electrode comprising a second portion and a second tab extending from the second portion, the second electrode being laminated on the separator. The battery further comprises a current collector assembly comprising: a plate; a first current collector coupled to a proximal end of the plate and comprising a first part and a second part opposite the first part; and a second current collector coupled to a distal end of the plate and comprising a third part and a fourth part opposite the third part. The battery may further comprise a housing coupled to the plate. The first part and the second part of the first current collector may be configured to move in opposite directions.
