Abstract:
The disclosed invention relates to a prismatic secondary battery in one embodiment, comprising: a case having at least one surface for forming an open surface; an electrode assembly accommodated inside the case through the open surface of the case; and a cap plate which is coupled to seal the open surface of the case, and which has electrode terminals of a cathode and an anode, wherein a swelling tape, which is contact with an electrolyte filling the case so as to extend and expand, is attached to a surface of the electrode assembly, a concave first beading processing part is formed on at least two opposing sides along the front, rear, right and left circumferences of the case.
