A prize acquisition playing machine (1) in which a player operates a prize acquiring unit (34) to hold a prize in a prize display space (A) and transfers it to the prize receiving port (44). The prize acquisition playing machine (1) has a central unit (2) installed at the central part of the machine (1) and in which prizes, a video display, and so forth are arranged and satellite units (3) annularly arranged around the central unit (2). In each satellite unit (3), a prize display space (A) is formed in rectangular parallelepiped. A prize receiving space (B) is provided adjacently to either the left or right side of the rectangular-parallelepiped prize display space (A). A prize receiving port (44) is disposed at the bottom of the prize receiving space (B), and a ceiling-traveling crane prize acquiring unit (30) is disposed on the top of the rectangular-parallelepiped prize display space (A). With this, vertical movement rails (32) of the ceiling-traveling crane prize acquiring devices (30) of adjacent satellite units (3) do not interfere with each other.
