Abstract:

A method for collecting probe information generated according to the movement of a vehicle includes: (a) a step of receiving, from a vehicle that has moved in a reference region including an intersection region and/or a road region, probe information containing information about the time spent in traveling through the reference region; and (b) a step of storing the received probe information. The intersection region extends from the entrance to an intersection to the exit from the intersection. The road region connects to the intersection region and extends from the exit from the intersection to the entrance to another intersection that is located adjacent to the intersection on the exit side of the intersection.
