Title:
PROCESS FOR THE ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING OF A THREE-DIMENSIONAL METAL PART
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/202263
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for the additive manufacturing of a three-dimensional metal part that comprises a solid portion having a core (21) surrounded by a shell, said process consisting in consecutively solidifying, by laser beam (120) fusion, layers of consecutively deposited metal powder, and defining at least one core region (210) and/or at least one shell region in each of the consecutive layers of powder. According to the invention, the core regions (210) are fused by scanning same with the laser beam (120) such that mutually parallel weld seams (211) are formed which have the same width (L), are juxtaposed or spaced apart or overlap over a distance that is shorter than X% of the width thereof, and the shell regions are fused by scanning same with the laser beam (120) such that mutually parallel weld seams are formed, all of which have the same width as well as the same width as the weld seams in the core and which overlap over a distance that is longer than X% of the width thereof, X being greater than 0 and less than 100.
