Abstract:
A process (200) is proposed for obtaining neon by cryogenic means from a neon-containing gas mixture (E), in which, after cooling (C1, C2) the gas mixture (E) at a predetermined pressure, a neon-rich liquid fraction is obtained (3) from the gas mixture (E) by condensation and purified (S), in which the gas mixture (E) is cooled (C1, C2) stepwise by heat exchange against helium in a helium cooling circuit (30).
