Abstract:
In a process for venting a carbon dioxide‑rich fluid, a processing unit (3) produces at least one carbon dioxide‑rich fluid (7, 9, 11) at a first pressure, the carbon dioxide‑rich fluid is expanded in a valve (PSV) to a second pressure to produce a two‑phase flow, the two‑phase flow is sent at the second pressure to a tank (15) and a gas (17) originating from the tank is sent into the atmosphere in gaseous form after having been expanded to atmospheric pressure.
