Abstract:
A process for bleaching silver dye by using a black developer containing at least one thiazole derivative represented by the general formula (I):$(7,)$(wherein R represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, and R' and R'' each represents a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, or R' and R'', when taken together, form a benzene ring optionally substituted by an alkyl group) or at least one imidazole derivative represented by the general formula (II):$(9,)$(wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 each represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group or an alkenyl group). Gradation of a finished image can be easily and surely flattened by using ordinary photo-sensitive materials and conducting ordinary processings. In addition, the black developer has an improved storage stability.
