Abstract:
Provided is a process cartridge that can secure rigidity in a guide while having increased compactness. A development cartridge (19) is provided with a development roller axis fitting section (66) that covers a development roller axis (67). A first guide rail (95R) provided with a first bearing surface (110R) is formed at the right-side wall (81R) of a drum cartridge (18). In the state of the development cartridge (19) being mounted to the drum cartridge (18), the development-side contact section (64) of a development electrode (53) is exposed from the right-side wall (81R) when viewed from the right side, and is disposed in proximity to the first bearing surface (110R) that guides the development roller axis fitting section (66). The first bearing surface (110R) is reinforced by being covered from the right side by a covering section (97).
