Abstract:
A process for continuous welding a composite pipe with outer stainless cladding
layer comprises steps as follows, (1) determining width dimension of a metal
strip coil based on the pipe diameter of the composite pipe (S1), (2) unwinding
(S2), (3) cold rolling formation in a pipe making machine set (S3), (4) welding
to form pipe (S4), (5) cutting after finishing (S5), wherein a composite bimetal
coil of stainless steel and carbon steel is used as the metal coil in step (1), and
a stainless welding rod is used for welding in step (4). The process is easy to carry
out and may be apply to a conventional pipe making machine set for producing the
composite pipe.
