Disclosed is a process for directly spinning a PBT melt into fibers, the process comprising slurry preparation, an esterification reaction and a pre-shrinking reaction, wherein the prepared prepolymer is filtered and cooled in sequence by means of a prepolymer filter and a prepolymer cooler and is then conveyed to a final polymerization reactor, and a high-viscosity melt from a discharge port of the final polymerization reactor passes through a booster pump, such that the melt is conveyed to a heating regulator along a heat-insulating pipe, and is finally conveyed to a direct spinning device for spinning, wherein the melt heating temperature in the heating regulator is controlled to be 237-272°C, the residence time is 10-40 min, the difference between the viscosity of the melt after being treated by means of the heating regulator at the outlet of the final polymerization reactor and that of an oil-free filament is controlled at 0.06-0.17 dl/g, the content of a terminal carboxyl group of the oil-free filament is controlled at 25-45 mol/t, and the pressure before a metering pump in the spinning device is controlled at 85-100 bar. This process requires less investment and is simple to operate.
