Abstract:
Provided are a process and equipment for the production of polyimide film, by which a polyimide film that has physical properties with excellent in-plane uniformity can be produced with high productivity. The solvent content of a self-supporting film is determined by infrared spectroscopy; and drying conditions of the cast polyimide precursor, post-heating conditions of the self-supporting film, and/or the rate of extrusion of the polyimide precursor solution through a die is controlled on the basis of results of the determination.
