Abstract:
A method for recovering soy saponis which comprises extracting a soy isoflavone concentrate derived from soy molasses with a mixture of acetone and water, removing undissolved solids from the extract, cooling the extract such that soy saponins precipitate therefrom, and separating the precipitated soy saponins from the extract.
