Title:
PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRET, AND ELECTROSTATIC INDUCTION-TYPE CONVERSION ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/095554
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a process for manufacturing an electret that can realize high long-term stability of electrical charges carried therein and has high thermal stability and excellent charge-retaining properties. Also disclosed is an electrostatic induction-type conversion element comprising the electret.
Specifically disclosed is a process for manufacturing an electret, which is characterized by involving a step of thermally treating a composition comprising a fluorine-containing polymer and a silane coupling agent, wherein the fluorine-containing polymer has an aliphatic ring structure in the main chain thereof and also has a carboxy group or an alkoxycarbonyl group as a terminal group thereof, the silane coupling agent has an amino group, and the thermal treatment is carried out at a temperature ranging from 250 to 330°C. Also specifically disclosed is an electrostatic induction-type conversion element comprising the electret.
