Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a process material mixing device suitable for efficiently mixing/stirring process material and also for removing powders, specks, etc. [Solution] The hopper (22) for mixing process material has a double layer structure of an outer hopper (26) and an inner hopper (40). A temporary storage tube (24), which is capable of temporarily storing the process material, is provided below the hopper and the presence of process material is detected by a level gauge (56) provided on the outside thereof. The upper part of the gap (42) between the outer hopper (26) and the inner hopper (40) is closed and the lower part communicates with the upper part of the temporary storage tube (24). By sucking air from an exhaust pipe (68) provided in the lid (60) on the upper section of the hopper (22), the process material is transported into the hopper (22) from an inlet port in the upper part of the outer hopper (26). By performing air transport, which sucks only air, for a fixed period after completing transport of a fixed amount of process material, process material that has been retained in the temporary storage tube (24) is drawn up and stirred inside the inner hopper (22) by a convection current.
