Abstract:
This process oil has (a) an ultraviolet absorbance (198nm) of 3 or less, (b) an ultraviolet absorbance (228nm) of 1 or less and (c) a kinematic viscosity of 25 to 450mm2/s at 40°C. A rubber composition using the process oil can yield a rubber article which exhibits excellent weather resistance and which is less susceptible to deformation such as loss of shape.
