Abstract:
Provided process for cyclization of 2- (4' -alkylbenzoyl) benzoic acid to corresponding 2-alkylanthraquinone in the presence of an improved zeolite catalyst, which is capable of increasing the conversion of 2- (4' -alkylbenzoyl) benzoic acid and/or selectivity of 2-alkylanthraquinone.
