Abstract:
The present invention discloses a process for preparing 4-aminodiphenylamine using nitrobenzene and aniline as raw materials, comprising five procedures of condensation; hydrogenation; separation, recovery and recycle of complex alkali catalyst and separation, recovery and recycle of complex powdered catalyst optionally at least part of which is regenerated; separation, recovery and recycle of aniline and separation, recovery and recycle of solvent for hydrogenation; purification, wherein complex alkali catalyst is used as condensation catalyst, complex powdered catalyst is used as hydrogenation catalyst. This process may be carried out continuously. The present invention selects two catalysts of which the price is cheap, activity is high; reaction conditions are mild, side products are few; the process of preparation may be continuous, suitable for the production under industrial scale; the content of 4­aminodiphenylamine prepared may be more than 99% (by weight), the production yield under industrial scale may be more than 95%.
