Abstract:
A process for processing a silver halide photographic material having a silver halide emulsion layer comprising at least one silver iodide layer with a processing solution which can develop and fix the photographic material, which comprises conducting said processing while bringing the processing solution into contact with an anion exchange resin in an amount of 20 to 2000 l of said processing solution per liter of said anion exchange resin. This process is intended to accelerate fixing and reduce the amount of waste fixing solution.
