Abstract:
A process for producing a compound represented by the formula (I) (wherein R2 is hydrogen or an amino-protecting group), characterized by subjecting a compound represented by the formula (II) (wherein R1 is alkyl or a monocyclic carbocycle or heterocycle) to a ring opening reaction with ammonia and then optionally to a protection reaction; a compound represented by the formula (IV) [wherein R3 is substituted alkyl or substituted aryl; and X and Y are OR4 and NHR5, respectively, or are NHR5 and OR4, respectively (R4 and R5 each independently is hydrogen, substituted alkyl, or substituted aryl)]; and a process for producing the compound. (I) (II) (IV) The compounds represented by the formula (I), formula (II), and formula (IV) are useful as important intermediates for medicines, agricultural chemicals, etc.
