Abstract:
A method of manufacturing articles; particles of at least one substantially inert material, particles of at least one microwave opaque substance, and particles of at least one organic binder are mixed with one another so as to obtain a mixture, which is subsequently is treated with microwaves so that the particles of the microwave opaque substance at least partially absorb the microwaves sand dissipate energy in form of heat, which heats the binder so as to allow the particles of the binder itself to bind and constitute a matrix in which the particles of substantially inert material and the particles of microwave opaque substance are inserted.
