Abstract:
Disclosed is a process for producing a blast furnace coke, which comprises heating a coal-derived liquid caking additive to a temperature equal to or higher than such a liquefaction temperature of the coal-derived liquid caking additive that the coal-derived liquid caking additive has a viscosity of 100 cP and equal to or lower than such a liquefaction temperature of a petroleum-derived solid caking additive that the petroleum-derived solid caking additive has a viscosity of 100 cP; dissolving the petroleum-derived solid caking additive in the coal-derived liquid caking additive to prepare a mixed caking additive; mixing a raw material coal with the mixed caking additive to prepare a mixed raw material; and distilling the mixed raw material to dryness.
