Abstract:
A process for producing a button bearing a protrudent character, the process comprising conducting the step of subjecting the face of a button main body to screen printing with an ultraviolet-curable ink and the step of curing the printed ink, the steps being repeated a plurality of times to thereby superpose a plurality of ink layers and form a protrudent character part that protrudes from the face by a given amount. The top layer, which is the ink layer to be superposed last, is printed when the directly underlying ink layer is in a semi-cured state.
