This process for producing a carbon nanotube composition includes: a dispersion step of dispersing carbon nanotubes which satisfy the relationship: 0.60>3σ/Av>0.20 (wherein Av is the average diameter and 3σ is the diameter distribution) in a solvent by dispersing treatment accompanied with cavitation effect; and a mixing step of mixing a latex with the carbon nanotube slurry obtained in the dispersion step.
