Title:
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING COAGULATED LATEX PARTICLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/092898
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A novel granulation method in which desired coagulated latex particles can be recovered in high yield from a polymer latex without detriment to the original quality of the polymer per se while inhibiting secondary aggregation or micropowder generation over wide temperature range conditions. There is provided a process for producing coagulated latex particles, characterized in that a polymer latex containing a water-soluble polymer compound with the property of forming a physical gel is sprayed or dropped into a water phase containing an inorganic salt and/or acid and a dispersant.
