Abstract:
A method for laminating a transparent sheet or touch panel to a flat display while
preventing air bubbles from being trapped between these. A liquid adhesive is
applied to a bonding surface in spot arrangement in a constant amount so that a
liquid-adhesive spot is formed in each of parts around the respective corners
of the surface and a central part thereof. The adhesive applied in spot arrangement
is spread so as to linearly connect the adhesive spots. This surface is reversed
to cause the adhesive to form a sag. This sag is brought into contact with an adherend
facing the surface, and the space between the surface and the adherend is filled
with the adhesive. The adhesive is cured by irradiation with light from the transparent
sheet side. Namely, the adhesive is brought into spot contact and then caused
to flow so as to spread into a shape suitable for avoiding air bubble entrapment,
before the space is filled with the adhesive.
