Abstract:

A process and an apparatus for producing fibers in a multi-spindle simultaneous spinning mode with satisfactory productivity are provided, with which it is possible, despite the spinning mode, to simultaneously obtain a plurality of fibers having no difference in outer diameter using a simple mechanism. The process for producing fibers is a process in which a molten resin is ejected through a plurality of ejection orifices to simultaneously produce a plurality of fibers, and is characterized by comprising the step of supplying the molten resin to the plurality of ejection orifices through molten-resin constant-delivery feeders respectively disposed for the ejection orifices and the step of ejecting the molten resin through the ejection orifices to simultaneously spin a plurality of fibers.
