Abstract:
Provided is a process for producing a flexible rice/wheat straw brake-pad friction material, comprising the following steps: placing dried wood fiber particles into a nano-graphite solution and soaking for 1 to 3 hours, then air-drying to obtain a wood fiber material for later use; pelletizing comminuted rice/wheat straw and talc particles, then drying to obtain a rice/wheat straw and talc particle material for later use, the granularity diameter of said rice/wheat straw and talc particle material being 0.5-1.5 mm; uniformly mixing 2 parts by mass of prepared rice/wheat straw and talc particle material and 1 part by mass of prepared wood fiber material to obtain a mixture; sequentially carbonizing and activating said mixture, and placing the activated mixture into a nitrile butadiene rubber solution and soaking for 1-3 hours, drying, and then grinding to form a flexible rice/wheat straw friction-material mixed particulate having a predetermined granularity; in proportion by mass, mixing in a high-speed mixer for 20-40 minutes 25 parts of fiber material, 7 parts of phenolic modified resin, 40 parts of rice/wheat straw flexible friction-material mixed particulate, 20 parts of friction-increasing material, 0.5 parts of pyrite, 0.5 parts of carbon black, 1 part of aluminum oxide, and 6 parts of copper powder until all materials are integrated, then releasing and placing into barrels to obtain the flexible rice/wheat straw brake-pad friction material. The brake pad produced by the process has low noise during use.
