Title:
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING MICELLE DISPERSION AND MICELLE DISPERSION OBTAINED THEREBY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2003/064732
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A process for producing a micelle dispersion exhibiting a minute uniform particle diameter and being free from mixing of media and fragments of dispersing vessel or the like, wherein a stable dispersion can be produced without the need of a large amount of expensive ferrocene derivative. In particular, a color filter of clear hue can be obtained in an economic manner from the micelle dispersion. In this process, use is made of a high-pressure emulsifier equipped with a linear orifice not having curved or bent portions and a hollow member having a diameter larger than that of the orifice, the hollow member connected to the orifice. A liquid mixture at least containing hydrophobic particles, a ferrocene surfactant and an aqueous medium is passed under pressure through the orifice at a flow rate of 100 to 1000 m/sec and is discharged into a liquid mixture that resides in the hollow member, so that ferrocene surfactant micelles having hydrophobic particles incorporated therein are formed in the aqueous medium.
