Abstract:

A process for producing a multilayer molding, comprising the steps of coating a surface of support with a layer of first thermoplastic resin with a first dispersion consisting of a first liquid medium and, dispersed therein, a first polymer component, a first alkali metal ion and a first inorganic layer compound to thereby form a first dispersion film on the support (the above first polymer component containing hydroxyl and carboxyl in a hydroxyl to carboxyl molar ratio of 30:70 to 95:5); removing the first liquid medium from the first dispersion film so as to form a first coating, thereby obtaining a laminate consisting of the support and the first coating; heating the laminate at a temperature not lower than that at which a condensation reaction between hydroxyl and carboxyl occurs in the first coating to thereby harden the coating; and feeding a plasticized second thermoplastic resin onto the layer of the first thermoplastic resin of the support of the laminate and shaping the same into given configuration to thereby obtain a multilayer molding having the laminate and a layer of the second thermoplastic resin.
