Abstract:
A process for producing an organofluorine compound, which comprises reacting an organochlorine compound or an organic unsaturated compound with hydrogen fluoride in the presence of a catalyst comprising a support of active alumina having fine pores 70 to 90 % of which have an average pore size of 40 to 500 Å carrying thereon a fluoride of at least one metal selected from among nickel, cobalt, iron, manganese, chromium, copper and silver.
