Abstract:
A process for producing an organolithium compound which comprises a step in which an aromatic compound or a halogenated unsaturated aliphatic compound is reacted with a lithiating agent at a temperature of -40ºC to 40ºC in the presence of either a coordinating compound having, per molecule, three or more elements which have coordinating ability and at least one of which is a nitrogen element or a coordinating compound which has, per molecule, three or more oxygen elements having coordinating ability and in which at least one of the groups having the oxygen elements having coordinating ability is a tertiary alkoxy group.
