Abstract:
Through this method in which: a catalyst is included which is any of (a) a catalyst including a prescribed element, (b) a catalyst including at least two prescribed elements, (c) a prescribed fluorinated metal oxide having a pore volume in a prescribed range, (d) a metal oxide fluorinated by a prescribed compound, and (e) a catalyst obtained by fluorinating a prescribed metal oxide having a pore volume in a prescribed range; using a catalyst including a prescribed element, the time of contact between the catalyst and a perfluoroalkadiene compound is set to 30 seconds or less; or the water content in the reaction system is set to a prescribed range in at least a portion of the process from the reaction start to the reaction end, a production method can be obtained in which the conversion rate of reaction is high, a perfluoroalkyne compound can be obtained with high selectivity, and perfluoroalkene compounds are not prone to be formed as byproducts, and degradation of the catalyst can also be reduced.
