Abstract:
The present invention is a process for producing a plastic lens by polymerizing a monomer composition, the process being characterized by adding one or more compounds selected from compounds represented by formula (1) and compounds represented by formula (2) to the monomer composition and polymerizing the resultant composition. [In formulae (1) and (2), either X1 or X2 represents a chlorine atom and the remainder represents a hydrogen atom. R1 and R2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a group selected from C1-8 alkyls.]
